Pulse Jet Filter Bags
A pulse jet filter bag, also known as a pulse jet baghouse or dust collector, uses bursts of compressed air to remove dust and particulate matter. These filters help maintain air quality and comply with EPA standards. The name comes from the “pulses” of air that clean the filters.
When dust collects on the filter bag’s exterior, it forms a dust cake. When the dust cake reaches a certain thickness, a pulse of compressed air knocks the dust off, which then falls into a hopper for easy disposal. Shaker Filter Bags
FabCo’s shaker filter bags help keep your workplace safe and compliant with air quality standards. How it works is the dust collector bags are suspended and tensioned from the top of the filter housing, with the bottom open and attached to the tube sheet. Air enters from below and moves upwards through the bag’s interior, where dust settles and collects. Clean air exits near the top of the collector.
Our shaker filter bags are made from woven media and installed with some slack, allowing the shaker mechanism to clean the bags effectively with a rapid shaking motion.
RF-Torit Filter Bags
Our RF-Torit filter bags deliver superior filtration efficiency and durability. Each bag is built to handle high dust loads and provide reliable filtration over extended periods. Dust collects on the exterior of the filter bags as the airstream enters the baghouse, while clean air is exhausted through the center of the bags and out of the system.
